Wherever you are in thinking about growing your family, you are welcome here. Surro Blessings is a platform built to help you understand your options, organize your information, prepare for what comes next, and stay connected with the people supporting you.

To be clear and honest from the very beginning: Surro Blessings is a platform, support and matching ecosystem. We are not a guarantee of a match, a surrogate, a donor, a pregnancy, a medical outcome, or any particular result. What we can offer is structure, preparation and support so your journey feels far less overwhelming.

You can read this guide start to finish before you begin, or return to it any time to see where you are.

Families arrive at this point for many different reasons, and there is no single correct path. Your assessment begins by asking why you are seeking assisted reproductive services and whether you are open to exploring multiple options or are focused on one specific service.

These are the pathways currently represented in the Surro Blessings Parent Assessment. Selecting one simply opens the questions relevant to it — it is not a commitment.

• IVF — In vitro fertilization using your own gametes or a combination that fits your circumstances, coordinated with the fertility professionals involved in your care.
• Donor Egg — Building your family with the help of an egg donor, including the preferences and considerations that matter most to you.
• Donor Sperm — Building your family with the help of a sperm donor, with the same attention to your preferences and considerations.
• Gestational Carrier — Partnering with a surrogate who carries your pregnancy, supported by the medical, legal and coordination professionals your journey requires.
• Donated Embryo — Pursuing your journey through a donated embryo, where that pathway fits your goals and circumstances.
• International Tissue Transportation — Coordination support where reproductive tissue needs to move between locations. Logistics, paperwork and chain-of-custody are discussed with you after review.

If you are not sure yet, that is completely normal. Indicating that you are open to exploring multiple options lets you share more about your goals before narrowing anything down.

Taking a little time before you sit down makes the whole process smoother. Gather what you can — where applicable — and keep it nearby.

• Valid government-issued ID
• Proof of address
• Any available family-building or journey-related information requested within the assessment
• Your preferred dates, times and method for follow-up contact

You do not need to have every future document or professional record available to begin. Additional information may be requested later as part of the preparation and partner-introduction process.

Preparation helps things move smoothly, but you do not need every possible document or answer in hand before you begin — only what the assessment specifically requires of you.

Because you prepared first, most of what you need should already be within reach. Plan for approximately 15 minutes, and complete it in one sitting when you can.

Your Parent Assessment helps Surro Blessings understand your family-building needs, the services you are seeking, questions specific to the pathways you select, your background and basic information, your household and parent structure, your preferences and matching considerations, communication preferences, and the agreements and acknowledgements that apply. It also asks about follow-up contact and any appointment information you already have.

Answer what you know. Items you are unsure about can be followed up on afterward — an incomplete answer is not a problem, and it is better than a guess.

Your Surro Blessings account is the secure place associated with your journey. It is where your information, your progress and your communications with our team come together, rather than being scattered across inboxes.

As the durable member and profile architecture comes online, each Parent will be given a stable Surro Blessings reference in the format SB-P-####. Once assigned, that reference stays with you for the life of your journey and is included in communications about your account, so you always know a message genuinely belongs to you. Your own reference will appear in your account when it is issued.

Please never send sensitive government or medical identifiers by email or text. Those belong inside your authenticated Surro Blessings account.

Your Surro Blessings Dashboard is your home base throughout your journey. After completing your assessment and account setup, log in and take a few minutes to look around.

Your Dashboard is intended to bring together your profile and account information, your assessment status, journey progress and next steps, requests and to-do items, documents and uploads, messages and communications, appointments and consultations, and — when the time is right — relevant opportunities and partner interactions. Some of these capabilities are still being built out and will appear as they become available; we would rather tell you that plainly than imply everything is live today.

After you submit, Surro Blessings reviews the information you provided. It is very common for us to come back with a clarifying question, a missing detail, or a request for a document. That is a normal part of the process.

A request for more information does not mean you have been declined. It usually means we want to represent your situation accurately before anything moves forward.

Responding promptly is the single most effective thing you can do to keep your journey moving.

Consultation with Surro Blessings is intended for Parents who have completed their assessment and have an account. There is a good reason for that order: once your assessment is on file, we can review your goals, your selected services and your preferences before we ever speak, so the conversation starts somewhere useful instead of at the beginning.

When consultation scheduling becomes available to you, it will be offered through your authenticated Dashboard alongside your other next steps. In the meantime, if you have a question at any point, you are always welcome to reach out to us directly.

Once the information we need has been reviewed and the applicable requirements are satisfied, your journey can progress to the next stage. Your Dashboard remains the place where your status and next steps are shown.

Readiness is never guaranteed, and requirements vary depending on your pathway, your location, the professionals involved and the partners appropriate to your journey. Common reasons a journey waits at this stage include outstanding documents, a clarification we are still waiting on, or a professional step that has not yet been completed. We will keep you informed either way.

Depending on the services you selected, this stage may involve surrogate opportunities, donor opportunities, or connections through approved Surro Blessings partners.

Our matching philosophy is straightforward. Your Preferences & Matching answers describe what matters to you — the relationship and communication you hope for, expectations around the medical process, boundaries you want understood, and how strongly you feel about each of them. Surrogates and donors answer their own version of the same questions. That shared vocabulary lets Surro Blessings organize and surface opportunities that may be genuinely relevant, rather than sending you everything at once.

Opportunities may be surfaced as Surro Blessings recommended, partner recommended, or through general eligible browsing where that is appropriate to your journey. The underlying compatibility framework is being built out, and we will not pretend an automated scoring engine is deciding your journey today. Real people review, and you decide.

Approved Surro Blessings partners work inside their own authenticated Partner experience, with access limited to the opportunities and information they are authorized to see. You do not need to manage any of that — it happens behind the scenes so your side stays simple.

Family-building journeys involve qualified professionals, and which ones depends entirely on your path. Over the course of a journey, Parents commonly work with some combination of agencies and partner organizations, fertility clinics and medical providers, attorneys, escrow or financial professionals, insurance professionals, doulas and birth support, and other family-building support services.

Surro Blessings helps you organize this side of your journey and, where available, helps connect you with relevant resources and approved partners. Surro Blessings itself does not provide medical, legal, insurance, escrow or agency services. Those services are delivered by the appropriately qualified and licensed professionals involved in your journey, and their determinations are theirs to make.

As the Surro Blessings resource library and directory expand, more of this will be discoverable directly from your Dashboard.

This stage looks different for every family, so we will describe it at a high level rather than pretend there is one universal checklist.

• Medical — fertility evaluation, treatment planning, and any screening required of the people involved in your pathway.
• Legal — agreements appropriate to your pathway, often with independent legal representation for each party where that applies.
• Financial — escrow or payment arrangements, budgeting, and understanding what your journey involves financially.
• Insurance — review of coverage for the parties and stages involved.

Requirements may vary depending on your location, the location of your surrogate, donor or provider, and the professionals involved in your journey. Nothing here is legal or medical advice, and no two Parents follow an identical sequence. Surro Blessings helps you stay organized and prepared while your professionals do their work.

Once you have an appropriate connection and a professional team in place, your journey becomes much more individualized. Depending on your pathway, this stage may involve treatment or cycle coordination, a donor process, a surrogate process, embryo transfer, and the medical milestones that follow.

Timing is led by your clinic and professional team, not by a platform. Your Dashboard is where you keep the moving pieces — documents, updates, appointments and next steps — in one place, so you can focus on the journey itself.

For journeys involving pregnancy, Surro Blessings remains part of the support and organization experience: staying informed, keeping communication respectful and clear, tracking milestones, coordinating with the people involved, and preparing for what comes next.

Communication and information sharing follow the relationship you and your surrogate have agreed to, together with the permissions and authorizations in place. Parents do not automatically receive another person's private medical information. What is shared, and how often, is agreed rather than assumed — and that respect is part of what makes these relationships work.

As delivery approaches, attention turns to planning and coordination. Depending on your journey, that may include delivery planning with the medical team, agreeing communication expectations for the day itself, coordination with your legal and professional team, travel and accommodation where relevant, hospital or birth-center planning, support resources, and postpartum considerations.

There is no universal birth plan, and plans change. The goal is simply that everyone involved knows what has been agreed, so the day can stay focused on your family and on the person giving birth.

Your relationship with Surro Blessings does not end at delivery. There may still be final journey steps and documents, postpartum and family support resources, and ongoing communication where that has been mutually agreed.

Some families return to us for a future journey. Some share feedback or a testimonial that helps another family feel less alone at the very beginning. Some refer someone they care about, and some choose to take part in Earn With Us where they are eligible. All of that is entirely optional and never a condition of your journey.
